Within record time, Central Avenue has received a major facelift.  There is still more to come for Central Avenue-including light poles, landscaping, and striping.  The final pieces of Central Avenue are estimated to be complete sometime this spring. Once Central is complete, thanks to grant funding, the  City can upgrade sections of Linden Avenue, another main artery coming through downtown.  There are many details yet to be worked out regarding timing, detour routes, etc. However, there will be a Public Informational Meeting on Thursday, February 9th from 6-8 PM at the City Building's Community Room.  The public will continue to be informed throughout this process.  For any questions, please call 847-6531.
